PENINSULA HOME CARE PARTNERS WITH NANTICOKE HEALTH SERVICES TO FORM "PENINSULA HOME CARE AT NANTICOKE"

SEAFORD, DE - Peninsula Home Care and Nanticoke Health Services today announced it has launched the partnership "Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke" in Seaford, Delaware. The agreement provides Nanticoke Health Services with an ownership stake in Peninsula Home Care's Sussex County branch office.

"Our goal is to more closely align the discharge of our patients from the hospital setting to home care and in doing so speed patient recovery rates," said Steven Rose, RN, MSN, CEO and President of Nanticoke Health Services. "This is an exciting opportunity for us. This partnership will allow Nanticoke to provide a continuum of care giving our patients access to additional health care resources."

Peninsula Home Care, which was founded in 1985 on the Maryland Eastern Shore, has been providing home health care to patients throughout Sussex County since 2004. Services include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and access to medical social workers and home health aides.

Peninsula Regional Health System (PRHS) Health Venture Partners, which has a separate joint venture agreement with Peninsula Home Care's management company, CHMG Solutions, will continue its partnership as well. The three entities - CHMG, PRHS Health Venture Partners and Nanticoke Health Services - will share equal ownership in the Sussex County branch office.
