Grandparents are the footsteps to the future generations.
We celebrated Grandparents Day this year on September 8th to honor the special grandparents in our Peninsula Home Care family. Thanks to all the grandparents out there for hugs, love and holding our families together.

Thanks to all of our community partners, vendors, speakers and attendees for making the 2019 Peninsula Home Care OWL Summit a success! We learned a lot that day and are grateful we could share it with our community.
We know being home-bound as a patient isn’t fun, especially for those individuals who like to get out and about to see family, friends and just enjoy the outdoors. So Peninsula Home Care is bringing some of the outdoors to them with a special delivery of fresh flowers and a smile! We hope it will brighten their day and keep them working hard towards recovery.
Did you see a lot of red in February? It’s National Heart Month (NHM). While we endeavor to teach patients and caregivers about maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle every day, NHM allows us to spread the word in a more concentrated way.
During 2019 NHM, community leaders and local celebrities across the Lower Shore Community “toasted” to good heart health with a red Peninsula Home Care or Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke mug. Photos in this gallery were used across social media to share heart health tips and lifestyle information.

The 2018 Silver Sluggers Season was a blast! We are signed up to sponsor Silver Sluggers again in 2019. A good time was had by all at our Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke OWLs Nest Ribbon Cutting this fall. We partnered with the Western Sussex Chamber of Commerce to invite local business people to visit our space and experience all our OWLs Nest has to offer to seniors. Thanks to all who attended and took the opportunity to spend time with our staff and learn more about what we do in our community.
The Shore Living Expo, sponsored by WBOC, was a great event to network and educate the community on all of the services we provide to our patients. We offered free blood pressure screenings, which were a hit with the attendees. Looking forward to participating again in 2019 and maybe even take part in the Job Fair that accompanied the Expo.
