Skilled Nursing

You get home from the hospital and you or your caregiver don’t have the luxury of pushing a button for help with changing a bandage or cleaning a wound. Peninsula Home Care can assist you. Our nurses provide and teach you or your caregiver, wound, catheter and/or colostomy care, IV management, in-home chemotherapy and injections among other skilled nursing services. When your nurse completes the visit, you can rest easy with a high-tech home medical kit to track health conditions such as blood pressure, pulse-rate, weight and blood oxygen saturation levels. Providing “Tele-Health” services offers a way to alert your home care nurse of any issues, recurrences or flare-ups.

Peninsula Home Care nurses also work closely with the patient, caregiver and family to educate them on the disease treatment, prevention and medication management. It is our goal to help every patient regain their independence and get back to a quality of life with family and friends.
